In this guide, we will walk you through the process of adding GPS locations to your pass template. This feature can be particularly useful for businesses that want to provide location-based offers or notifications to their customers.

To begin, head to your pass dashboard and click on "Designs." Then, select "Settings" and click on "Location." This is where you can add GPS locations to your cards.

To add a new location, click on "Add Location."

Add a name for your location and its address. That's it! Your location has now been successfully added.

When a customer's device is within range of the location you've set, the specific lock screen message you've assigned will appear on their Apple device.

Locations can also be added, edited and deleted from the “assets page.” To do this, navigate to the project page and click on the dropdown menu at the top right corner of the screen.

click on the 'Locations' tab, then select “Add location”

Fill in the necessary details for the new location, following the same steps as before.

Click 'Save' and your location will be shown in the location list.

You can also make changes to existing locations by selecting the "Edit Location" option. If you need to remove a location from the list, simply select "Delete Location".

Once a location has been saved, it can be reused across any other project by using the 'Saved Locations' dropdown.

That’s it! Now you can add and manage locations at any time.

Important: Keep messages concise

While there is no specific character limit for location triggered notifications, it is advisable to keep them concise and directive for optimal display.

Please note that if a notification message exceeds the available space on the Lock Screen, iOS may truncate it, potentially cutting off crucial information. The size of the text displayed varies depending on the user's screen size and system font settings. To ensure your message is suitable and effectively displayed, we recommend testing it on various devices.

By crafting short and directive notifications, you can maximize the chances of your message being fully visible and understood by the recipient.
