The information shown on the Pass is broken up into fields. A field refers to the information that is displayed on a pass. Each field contains a value and label, and a unique identifier (or key) and additional formatting information. The label and value fields are displayed on the Pass.

For example:

  • "ID" : "Passenger name"
  • "Label" : "Passenger"
  • "Value" : "Percy Passkit"

Only the label and value fields "Passenger" and "Percy Passkit" will appear on the pass. The ID helps the pass issuer identify the field

The Pass Designer allows you to identify each field that is allowed by Pass Type and you simply enter the ID, Label and Value appropriate for the pass.
