Editing the Barcode

Selecting the barcode type

When in the designer click on the barcode. From here we can change the type of barcode to be shown on the design. There are 5 options.

  • QR

  • Aztec

  • PDF417

  • Code128 (1d barcode)

  • None

Edit the Barcode Payload

You can edit the barcode payload to contain any value. If you want to use the PassReader app or CodeReadr app you need to use ${pid} as the payload.

Other common options are

  • External ID - in the case you have your own membership number you wish to use (that may be recognised by your current member software)

Edit the Text Below Barcode

You can also edit the text that is shown below the barcode on the pass. In this example it is set to show the Pass/Member ID "${pid}", but you can change this to your preference.

Click Done when finished
