The batch delete function allows you to remove multiple passes from your PassKit portal in a single action, rather than deleting them individually.
Terminology
Batch Delete
A function that allows the removal of multiple passes simultaneously in the PassKit portal, rather than deleting them one by one.
Passes
Digital items (like membership cards, coupons, or event tickets) managed within the PassKit portal.
List page
The specific screen within the PassKit portal that displays a list of all passes for a particular pass type.
Overview page
The initial screen or summary page for a project within the PassKit portal.
Records
Individual entries or items in the list page, representing individual passes.
Select All
A checkbox option that, when selected, automatically selects all records (potentially across multiple pages) in the current list view.
Filters
Criteria that can be applied to the list of passes to display only those that meet specific conditions.
Filtered records
The subset of passes displayed in the list page after one or more filters have been applied.
Using the Batch Delete Function
Passes can be deleted in bulk from the list of passes found in the list page for each pass type. You can access this page from the top menu tab,
Member/Loyalty - "Members"
Coupons - "Coupons"
Event Tickets - "Tickets"
Batch delete
In this example I am deleting from a membership program, but the process is the same for each pass type.
Navigate to the list page
When looking at the overview page for a project, click on the appropriate menu item in the top menu to access the list of passes.
Select the records to be deleted
Use the check boxes to select the records to be deleted. Use the Select All checkbox to select all records.
Note: The Select All check box will select all records across all pages.
Delete
Click on the Delete button to delete the selected records. A warning will be shown with the number of records that will be deleted. Click Delete to close the warning and delete the records.
Batch Delete using filters
Filters can be used to show records that fit certain criteria, which can then be batch deleted.
When viewing at the list, click on Add Filter.
Add a filter
In this example, I want to delete any records created before 31/12/2022.
Select the Created filter, and then select the Is Less Than and add the date.
Click done, then Apply to view the filtered records
Batch Delete the filtered records
Use the checkbox to Select All records, then click Delete. A warning will be shown with the number of records that will be deleted. Click Delete to close the warning and delete the records.
