Introduction
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to permanently delete your PassKit account. Before proceeding, please note that account deletion is irreversible—once completed, you will lose access to all data associated with your account.
If you need to retain any information stored in a pass record (including event data) you must export this data (e.g., as a CSV) before deletion, as it cannot be recovered afterward.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
Once your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
Account & Billing Data
Your PassKit account credentials (email, username, and profile details)
Payment information stored in Stripe (if applicable)
Pass Data & Functionality
All issued passes (they will be revoked and moved to the "Expired" folder in users' wallets)
Pass templates and designs
Pass URLs (Pass Distribution links will no longer work)
Customer & Engagement Data
Pass data collection pages (web forms will no longer function)
Welcome email templates (customized pass delivery emails will be deleted)
Pass event history (scan analytics, engagement logs, and redemption data)
Important:
No new passes can be issued after deletion.
All data removal is permanent—PassKit cannot recover deleted information.
How to Delete Your PassKit Account
Step 1: Log In to PassKit
Enter your credentials to sign in.
Step 2: Access Account Settings
Click the dropdown arrow (▼) next to your username (top-right corner).
Select "Account" from the menu.
Step 3: Delete Your Account
On the Account page, click the "Delete Account" button.
Enter your Password.
Check the box to confirm your want to delete your account.
Click the DELETE button.
Final Notes
Back up any critical data (e.g., customer lists, pass record data) before deletion.
Revoked passes will remain in users' wallets as expired but cannot be updated or restored.
If you need help, contact PassKit Support before deleting your account.
