Manage your ticket types

Ticket Types allow to you offer different levels of ticket for your event. For example, you my want VIP's to have a different ticket than ordinary attendees, maybe they have access to other areas.


Terminology

Ticket Types:

Different categories of tickets for an event, each with potentially varying access, benefits, or prices.

Event Setup:

The section or page within an event management system where event details, including ticket types, are configured.

Base Ticket Type:

A pre-existing template or default ticket type that can be used as a starting point for creating new, customized ticket types.

Terms and Conditions:

Specific rules, restrictions, or limitations associated with a particular ticket type.

Ticket Type Design:

The visual appearance of a ticket, including colors, fonts, and layout, which can be customized to reflect the specific ticket type.


Examples of different ticket types include,

  1. General admission

  2. VIP

  3. Senior Citizens

  4. Children

  5. Staff

You are able to set up different ticket types for your event that can have their own design so they are easily recognisable.


Setting up a Ticket Type

Add a new Ticket Type

Navigate to the 'Event Setup' page and click on '+ Ticket Type'

Enter the ticket type details

  • Name - for your reference

  • Terms and Conditions - You can add specific terms and conditions for the Ticket Type here (optional)

  • Base Ticket Type - This is the Ticket Type which be duplicated to create the new Ticket type

Click save when finished and your new Ticket Type will be created

You can now edit the Ticket Type design so it reflects the New Ticket type.

In the example below I will change the pass background colour so there is a clear visual identifier to which ticket type it is.


Editing the Ticket Type settings

From the Event Setup page click on the settings icon to access the settings.

From here we can change the Ticket Type name and optional Terms and Conditions for the Ticket Type.

Click 'Save' when done.
