Welcome to PassKit.
PassKit helps businesses create, distribute, manage and grow wallet experiences across Apple Wallet and Google Wallet—from loyalty and membership cards to tickets, coupons, credentials and more.
Watch the introduction
In this short demo, you will see how wallet passes work for customers, the types of experiences you can create, and how PassKit helps you take an idea from template to a live wallet pass.
What is a wallet pass?
A wallet pass is a useful digital item that a customer can save directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
It might be a loyalty card, membership card, coupon, event ticket, boarding pass, gift card or digital credential. Customers can save a pass from your website, email, SMS, QR code, app or other digital channels, without needing to download another app.
Unlike a static image or PDF, a wallet pass can stay useful after it has been issued. You can update relevant information as a customer’s relationship with your business changes.
What can you create with PassKit?
PassKit supports a wide range of wallet experiences, including:
Loyalty cards with points, status and rewards
Membership cards and digital credentials
Coupons, offers and gift cards
Event tickets and boarding passes
Employee, insurance and other digital cards
Whatever you create, the workflow is designed to be consistent: choose a pass type, customise it for your brand, connect your data and launch it to your customers.
How PassKit works
The PassKit Portal is where you can create and manage your wallet projects. Use it to choose templates, design passes, manage members, distribute pass links and review activity.
When you need to connect PassKit to your existing systems, you can use integrations, automation tools and developer APIs. This lets wallet passes become part of your wider customer journey rather than a separate, one-off campaign.
