This article will show you how to automatically collect coupon details in Google Sheets when a coupon is issued.

Pre-requisites

Step 1 - Create a new scenario

Step 2 - Click on the plus sign and search to find PassKit.

Step 3 - Choose the trigger action.

If prompted enter your PassKit log in details to connect your account.

In this scenario we want to check for any new issued coupons in your campaign. Select "Watch Created Records"

Step 4 - Create the webhook.

  • Click on 'Create a webhook'

  • Enter the name for your webhook

  • Connection, click 'add' and enter your log in details (you can skip this if your Passkit account has already been connected)

  • Choose protocol 'Coupon'

  • Select the campaign you are using and click 'Save' when finished.

  • Click 'ok'

Note: Once a webhook is created it can be reused for other scenarios

Step 5 - Set up the action.

Click on the plus sign to add another module. When prompted search and select "Google Sheets".

Step 6 - Select the action

If prompted enter your Google log in details to connect your account.

In this scenario we want to add a new row to the spreadsheet when a member is enrolled. Select 'Add a row'

Step 7 - Select the spreadsheet name and sheet

Select the spreadsheet name and sheet which will be used to hold the coupon details.

This is the example Google Sheets spreadsheet I am using.

Step 8 - Map the fields

Map the spreadsheet column headers (values) to the pass fields.

Mapping the fields tells Make which columns in the spreadsheet go with which fields on the Coupon design. Click ok when finished.

Step 9 - Test the connection works, click "Run Once"

Note, after clicking "Run once" issue a coupon in your campaign, this will trigger the action.

Step 10 - Success

If the test was successful you will see the member shown in the spreadsheet.

Step 11 - Activate your scenario

Click the lightning icon and tell Make how often you want your scenario to run. When done, use the toggle at the bottom left of the screen to activate the scenario.

That's the setup complete.
