Introduction
If you're an agency, a marketing firm, or a business that manages digital campaigns and technology solutions for multiple clients, PassKit offers a streamlined and cost-effective way to handle all your projects under one roof. Our agency model allows you to manage multiple client projects efficiently while benefiting from aggregated volume pricing.
The PassKit Agency Model Explained
The PassKit agency model means you manage digital pass campaigns for all your end-clients within a single, centralized PassKit account. This offers significant advantages for operational efficiency and cost savings.
Centralized Management: You'll access one PassKit dashboard to create, manage, and update passes for all your clients. This streamlines your workflow and keeps everything organized in one place.
Single Billing: You receive one consolidated invoice from PassKit for all your projects and their combined pass volume. You then manage the billing directly with your individual clients for the services and passes you provide them.
Important Note on Account Access:
In this model, your clients (the brands) do not log into the PassKit portal directly. Your agency account acts as the central hub for all managed projects. PassKit does not currently support multiple domain usernames or separate client logins within a single agency account. You, as the agency, will manage all aspects of the PassKit platform for your clients, offering them a seamless, managed service.
How Aggregated Volume Pricing Works
One of the biggest benefits of the PassKit agency model is how your total pass volume is calculated, which can lead to significant cost savings through aggregated volume pricing.
PassKit's pricing tiers (as seen on passkit.com/pricing/rates) are based on the total number of active passes across your entire account. When you manage multiple clients under one agency account, the pass volume from all their projects combines to reach higher volume tiers faster, unlocking lower per-pass rates.
Example using PassKit's rates
Imagine you have 10 individual clients, and each client manages 10,000 multi-use passes.
If each client had a separate PassKit account:
Each client would individually pay for 10,000 passes. According to the current pricing rates on passkit.com/pricing/rates, a volume of 10,000 multi-use passes would cost $340.75 per month.
For 10 clients the total would be $3407.50 per month
With an Agency Account (Aggregated Volume):
Your single agency account's total active pass volume would be 10 clients * 10,000 passes/client = 100,000 multi-use passes.
The cost per month for 100,000 multi-use passes would be $1,336.25.
This represents a saving (profit) of $2,071.25 per month
This allows your agency to offer competitive pricing to your clients while maintaining a healthy margin for your services.
Value-Added Services You Can Offer
Beyond simply managing passes, the agency model enables you to offer a range of value-added services to your clients:
