Adding and removing fields from the form design

This article explains how to design your Data Collection form; used to collect data from your members/customers when they enrol.


Terminology

Data Collection Form

Also known as the Enrolment Form. This is a form used to collect data from your users before the Membership Card is issued.

Designer

The PassKit Pass Designer used to design the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes.

Form Designer

The specific part of the pass designer where the Data Collection form can be edited.


Editing the Data Collection form

In this example I will be editing the form for the Membership Card project, but the process is the same for all pass types.

Navigate to the designer

Navigate to the the Designs page and click the edit icon for the tier you want to edit.

Open the form designer

Click on the 'Data Collection Form' icon to access the form design.

Add and order fields

Now add fields and reorder them by dragging them into place.

Changing the field label here will also change the label text on the pass design.

Removing a field

If you add a field by mistake, you can delete it by opening the field settings and clicking 'Delete'
