The Messages feature brings together messages and notifications for both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and introduces scheduling and segmenting using filters.
Terminology
Messages Feature
A tool that consolidates notifications and messaging operations across both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet into a single interface, supporting message scheduling and target audience segmentation using filters.
Calendar View
The default display interface that organises scheduled and sent messages in a calendar format across Month, Week, or Day views.
List View
An alternative display interface that presents messages in a sequential list alongside their current operational status, with support for status-based filtering.
Message Status
The indicator of a message job's current progress within the system:
Access the Messages Interface
Open the project to the project overview and click on Messages in the left menu.
Messages Overview
The Calendar View
This is the default view and shows your messages in a calendar format. You can change the view to,
Month
Week
Day
The view is colour co-ordinated with the message status.
Clicking on the message in the calendar will open the message details, and allow you to edit the message if required.
The List View
This view shows your messages in the List view, and includes the current status of the message.
Click in "List" at the top right to view the list.
You can filter the messages by status.
Click on the message to access the message details, and edit the message if required.
Message Status
The status shows what the current progress of the message job.
Scheduled - Messages is scheduled and will be sent at the set date and time (if you are sending immediately this means the message is in the queue waiting to be sent).
Active - Messages are currently being sent.
Complete - All messages have finished sending.
Cancelled - The messages were cancelled before sending.
