This guide will take you through the expiry settings of Loyalty cards and explain how each option works.
There are two ways to set the expiry settings.
In the tier settings
When creating your program using the wizard.
When using the wizard, there are four options available to you for setting expiry dates on your loyalty pass. To see them, click on the dropdown menu under “Expiry settings”.
You can select one of the following options:
Does not expire
Fixed period after enrollment
Expires on a fixed date
Expiry date provided on issue
If you select “Does not expire”, your loyalty pass does not expire and remains valid for life.
If you select “Fixed period after enrollment”, you need to set a specific number of days that the pass remains valid after the user enrolls.
If you select “Expires on a fixed date”, you need to set the exact day, month and year the pass will expire.
Select “Expiry date provided on issue” if you are using the API or CSV import function.
