You've received your PassKit bill and noticed a breakdown showing $19.75 for single-use passes and $19.75 for multi-use passes, even though you might only be using one type, like loyalty or membership cards. We understand why this might seem confusing!

This is because your PassKit subscription starts with a base platform fee of US$ 39.50 per month (after your 45-day free trial). This single platform fee provides you with access to our powerful features, 24/7 platform access, integrations, developer tools, and essential support.

The reason you see this specific $19.75 + $19.75 split on your bill is purely an administrative display. Our third-party billing system, which handles our metered billing, requires us to divide the total $39.50 platform fee in this way for internal processing and transparency. Essentially, it's two halves of the same whole.

What Does Your $39.50 Platform Fee Include?

This $39.50 base fee isn't just about the pass count; it's your comprehensive access to the PassKit platform, including:

  • Included Pass Volume: This covers your initial usage for both pass types:

    • Up to 250 multi-use passes (like loyalty and membership cards)

    • Up to 250 single-use passes (like coupons, tickets, and boarding passes)

  • Full Platform Access: 24/7 access to design, manage, and distribute your passes.

  • Essential Features: Access to integrations and our developer toolkit.

  • Bronze Support: Access to our support resources to help you along the way.

  • Unlimited Test Passes: Experiment and perfect your passes without affecting your live counts.

Understanding Your Usage

Even though you might only be actively using one type of pass, the $39.50 platform fee is a bundled charge that provides the capacity for both. You can always review your current usage of both multi-use and single-use passes in your Billing Overview within your account. This will show you exactly how many of each pass type you currently have.

We aim for complete transparency in our billing. We hope this clarifies why your bill reflects this split, as it represents your full access to the PassKit platform.
